The Palets d’Or – an original product of the region

In 1898, Bernard Sérardy took over the family confectionery business and invented for this occasion an amazing new kind of chocolate, the Palets d’Or, made of a smooth ganache (chocolate and crème fraîche) lightly flavoured with coffee. This filling is covered with smooth half-bitter chocolate and a sprinkling of gold leaf.
